Escape the everyday hustle and bustle and discover the serene beauty of Island Utopia Cabins on Sointula, Malcolm Island. Wake up to the soothing sounds of birds and the tranquility of nature surrounding you. We cater to people who love and respect nature. If you can enjoy the simpler things in life we are the place for you. Note: We take pride in being "unplugged" and there is no wi-fi available at any of the cabins.
All Cabins include access to 375' private beachfront, outdoor kitchen, picnic tables, hammock area, outdoor firepit and Finnish sauna ($25). For full list of amenities, click here.
Note: Our cabins are not suitable for people with mobility challenges and children under the age of 3.

Rita's Cabin

Nestled among towering Spruce, Cedar, and Hemlock trees, Rita’s Cabin offers a serene, rustic escape just steps from the beach. Perfect for writers, researchers, couples, and solo travelers, this private cabin provides a tranquil setting to unwind, read, beachcomb, or enjoy a Finnish sauna. With a wood-burning stove and a cozy kitchenette, it's the ideal place to distance yourself from busy lifestyles and reconnect with nature.

Surrounded by forest and breathtaking views of Broughton Strait, Port McNeill, and snow-capped mountains, this cozy, pet-friendly cabin is perfect for nature lovers. Whether you're beachcombing, free diving, kayaking, or simply unwinding with a good book, this rustic escape allows you to reconnect with nature in a truly serene setting.
